I received an email recommendation by Amazon for this book. I read the description and was intrigued enough that I downloaded the sample. That was a few days ago. I read the sample last night and decided that this was one I wanted to buy. It reminded me right away of the British Chick Lit I love by authors Jill Mansell and Sophie Kinsella.

Once I purchased the book I began reading where the sample led off and the next thing I know it is 3:00 AM! Quite a few times I did laugh of loud, or at least giggle out loud. It definitely is a Romantic Comedy. Yes, it was predictable but I thought it was completely enjoyable from start to finish and wouldn't have wanted it any other way. This was my first book by this author and I'll be checking out her other works.

I find myself wishing that this book did not end. I want to know what happens to Binki now. This was truly a funny story and I found myself wishing I had a William in my own life.
I love Lynda Renham's books and I loved this one too. It's what I consider "light" reading and the characters and story lines are always fun. In this book, I liked the main characters, esp Binki. Funny book.
This book was so much fun with just enough angst and tears to add some drama. As with all of Lynda Renman's books, many laugh until the tears came moments. I've also enjoyed learning to curse in Brit rather than the tired American lingo. Thank you Lynda for the wonderful romp. You're a new favorite.
My least favourite Lynda Renham. I've put the book down and not picked it back up again. Lynda's other books are fantastic and she is easily one of my favourite chick lit author's - if you have read most of the Katie Fforde, Jill Mansell and Sophie Kinsella books give Lynda Renham a go.
One of my favorite's of the year. This is the second book I've read y Lynda Renham and I'm now an addict. It was light, fun, and laugh out loud funny. I'm an American who is now finding myself saying things like bollocks and such in my daily conversation because of how much I've devoured these books.
This is the second book I read of Lynda's and I have to say that I was not as impressed. Binki's bitterness was a little too much and I didn't understand why William fell in love with her. Also, I think I would have liked knowing what was going on in William's head, rather than being a one-sided story. However, since it ended the way I wanted it to from the beginning, I will be a little forgiving in my review and give it a 4!
This is the most delightfully funny story that I have read in years! I was laughing out loud at some point in practically every chapter. Heartwarming story with mesmerizing, lovable characters.....I was hooked from page 1. Realized early on that I had read this years ago, and it was even funnier this time around. Can’t wait for the next book by this author.....I will surely read them all!
